Some US corporations are publicly employing H-1B visa holders and excluding American workers due to fears about limits on foreign labor. But for indian workers, it could cause more problems than it would help. Some social media users uploaded job postings from businesses that made it apparent that "Locals need not apply." This prejudice was criticized, with some claiming that indian recruiting supervisors explicitly gave preference to their compatriots over Americans.

Internet users are furious over this, accusing it of discrimination and abusing the H-1B program. It was intended to cover gaps rather than replace local labor, according to critics. There was, however, no concrete proof that indians gave preference to fellow indian workers for the positions. The fact that H-1B workers are paid less and have a stronger skill set is another reason why these corporations explicitly requested them.

Due to the fact that indians receive the most H-1B visas, they are being unfairly singled out. The Department of Justice (DOJ) has now taken notice and will look into the situation more thoroughly. The future of many indian families in the US is currently uncertain. As a result, businesses may abuse needy immigrants in order to obtain inexpensive labor. As immigration laws become more stringent, H-1B holders may be in for a surprise. Easy access to US jobs may be coming to an end.
