With Rajinikanth, lokesh kanagaraj is now working on the highly anticipated movie Coolie, which is scheduled for release on May 1. Strong rumors now indicate that Coolie is nearing completion, while lokesh has already started pre-production on Kaithi 2, one of the most anticipated movies in his filmography.
 
Lokesh is reportedly thinking of casting malayalam actress Rajisha Vijayan, who starred in Karnan and Sardar, in a pivotal part in Kaithi 2. social media conversations have already started to unravel her possible role in the movie as a result of this rumor. Furthermore, according to sources, Kaithi 2 will start production in July or August, shortly after Coolie's release.

According to earlier speculations, lokesh had signed aamir khan to his dream movie, Irumbu Kai Mayavi, and would give it priority over Kaithi 2 once Coolie was finished. But as of yet, this has not been formally confirmed.
