Title conflicts between two actors are not uncommon in the tamil film business, but when two films require the same title, it always sparks contentious discussions. This is precisely what is taking place at the moment, as two major enterprises are at odds over the term Parashakthi. The title Parasakthi was recently revealed for Sivakarthikeyan and sudha Kongara's next pan-India monthly drama.

The official announcement and poster release of another movie, Parashakthi, which starred vijay antony and was directed by shakti Tirumagan, also caused a stir on the same day. Because the two movies now had the same title, this caused confusion.

Right now, it appears like Vijay Antony's movie will be released in the early summer of 2024. The current concern is that if Sivakarthikeyan's film keeps the same title, viewers could become confused. The business is anxious to see if one of the two celebrities would give up or if they will come to an agreement. Like Sholay in hindi and maya Bazaar in telugu, Parashakthi is regarded as a cult film in tamil and has a particular place in the hearts of its devotees.

With conflicting responses from tamil filmgoers, this circumstance calls into question the utilization of such renowned titles for commercial films. Similar arguments over well-known names like Missamma, Shankarabharanam, and Adivi Ramudu have happened in telugu film, although they haven't led to any significant altercations. The fundamental question is still whether Sivakarthikeyan's project would continue to use the same title or alter it. Will this disagreement go to court if both celebrities are adamant? Time will tell.
