He had said that the makhana market will soon become a market worth Rs 6000 crore, and if a big brand is created based on it, it will grow well. He had also attached a graphic in his post in this regard. In it, he had said that the current value of the makhana industry in india is Rs 3000 crore, and in the next two to three years it will become an industry worth Rs 6000 crore. He said that makhana exports are growing at a rate of 25 percent every year, and he said that there are great job opportunities in this. It is in this context that Union Finance minister nirmala sitharaman has announced that a board will be set up to give importance to the production, sale, and marketing of makhana in India.


Since the production of makhana is high in the state of bihar, a board is being set up for this. Makhana seeds are considered a nutritious snack not only in india but also internationally. It is continuously said that it is very good for health because it contains protein, fiber, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, etc. Especially since it is low in calories, it is continuously said that those who want to lose weight can definitely consume it in their diet. In this situation, the announcement regarding the board issued by the central government is going to further promote this industry in India. nirmala sitharaman mentioned in her budget speech that bihar farmers should take advantage of this industry, which has good growth potential.
