Gupta Poonam CRPF: After the President's official house authorized the wedding to be held within the compound for the first time in independent India's history, CRPF officer Poonam Gupta is scheduled to become the first person to get married in Rashtrapati Bhavan. According to sources, on february 12, Poonam Gupta, the CRPF Assistant Commandant who led the all-female contingent at the 74th Republic Day Parade, would tie the knot at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
 

Who is CRPF officer Poonam Gupta?
During the 74th Republic Day Parade, Poonam Gupta, an Assistant Commandant in the Central Reserve police Force (CRPF), led the all-female CRPF troop. At the moment, she works in Rashtrapati Bhavan as a Personal Security Officer (PSO).
 
Poonam, who graduated from Jiwaji university in gwalior with a bachelor's degree in mathematics, a master's degree in english literature, and a BEd, placed 81st in the 2018 UPSC CAPF test. Before being assigned to Rashtrapati Bhavan, Gupta was deployed to a region of bihar that was rife with Naxals.
 

In addition to her military duty, Poonam Gupta is a social media whiz. She frequently uploads inspirational messages for pupils, images from her CRPF on Instagram, and information about the causes she is involved in. Additionally, Poonam has a strong commitment to women's concerns and empowerment, which is shown in her social media posts.
 

First wedding at Rashtrapati Bhavan
President Droupadi Murmu personally granted the request after being pleased by the young officer's excellent service and conduct, making Poonam Gupta the first person in India's history to get married in Rashtrapati Bhavan, according to reports.
 
Strict security measures will be in place, and a small number of family members and friends will attend the february 12 wedding in the mother teresa Crown Complex.
