The dominance of South indian cinema in the North has increased to unprecedented levels, with many bollywood directors failing to produce successful films and Southern filmmakers garnering considerable recognition. Renowned filmmakers including Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kabir Khan, ali Abbas Zafar, Rohit Shetty, and rajkumar hirani have had underwhelming success with their most recent productions.

This change has given Southern directors a chance to establish themselves in the North, where there is a sizable market with significant profit possibilities. One director interested in the bollywood market is Anil Ravipudi, who has a reputation for creating comedic family entertainment. His movies are comedic, and a bollywood hit may be a major turning point in his career.

Anil recently stated in an interview that he would like to remake his most recent hit film, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, with salman khan in the starring role. At the global box office, the movie has made about ₹225 crores. salman khan would be a perfect match for the part, according to Anil, and it may do very well at the box office if it were to materialize. Whether salman khan will take the offer into consideration is the current question.

But when it comes to comedic timing, salman lags far below Venkatesh. Supporters believe salman falls short of Venky's effortless portrayal of such comical parts. Furthermore, Salman's career isn't at its peak right now. Therefore, his fans would not want him to play the lead in a remake of a movie that would be viewed by many people in theaters and on OTT in the near future.
