Allu aravind is preparing for his upcoming project, Thandel, which is a romance drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti and stars sai pallavi and naga Chaitanya. The seasoned producer made fun of the recent failure of S Shankar's action movie Game Changer, which starred ram charan and kiara advani and was supported by dil Raju, during a pre-release event on Sunday.

Allu is heard saying in telugu at the event, “Dil Raju made history recently. One movie of his was like this (gestures down, hinting at Game Changer), while another movie was like this (gestures up, hinting at Sankranthi Vastunam). He got raided by Income Tax (department). A lot happened in a week,” he said, while smiling.

Aravind's jab against dil raju did not sit well with the internet. An old video of actor allu arjun, Aravind's son, confessing in telugu, "I was once rejoicing when a film failed," was even unearthed by an X user. "Apple doesn't fall far from the tree," said a different commenter in response to the video. "Now they're making fun of dil Raju? Another said, "Hahahah." The third remark read, "@AlwaysRamCharan, do you understand how they are enjoying your movie failures?"

Allu aravind was also defended by many. One commenter countered, "Allu arjun and his father should always support Megays, but there hasn't been a single tweet expressing gratitude for pushpa 2's success." What illogical reasoning? The allu arjun film After its release last year, pushpa 2: The Rule, which was produced by movie MAKERS' target='_blank' title='mythri movie makers-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>mythri movie makers and directed by Sukumar, became the largest domestic blockbuster in India. Game Changer, which came out more than a month after pushpa 2, ultimately failed at the box office.
