The actress, known for her versatile roles in indian cinema, took to instagram to share her excitement, offering fans a glimpse of the film’s set. Holding a clapperboard, she announced the commencement of the first schedule in pune and expressed enthusiasm about bringing this impactful and untold story to life. 
The film, which stars Aggarwal alongside Shreyas Talpade, went on the floors on january 9, beginning its journey in mumbai before moving to pune for the next phase of production. Her post also confirmed the release date—August 15, 2025—aligning with India’s Independence Day, hinting at a story deeply rooted in the country’s socio-political landscape.
Directed by chetan DK and produced by MIG Production and Studios, The india Story is expected to delve into a controversial subject matter, setting it apart from conventional commercial films.
