Champions Trophy: ICC gives special permission to Pakistan..!?

The Champions Trophy series is scheduled to be held on february 19. This match will be held in three stadiums in pakistan - Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. Only the matches played by india will be held in dubai according to the hybrid model. The pakistan Cricket Board was engaged in the work of renovating its stadiums for this Champions Trophy series. This work, which was carried out at a cost of about 300 crore rupees, was not completed within the deadline given by the ICC. Due to this, it was expected that this series would be shifted to another country. However, the pakistan Cricket Board has completed 99 percent of the work at the Lahore and Karachi stadiums. The pakistan Cricket Board has also decided to host a tri-series between pakistan, South Africa, and new zealand in Lahore and Karachi to know the nature of the pitch.
However, the ICC has to hand over the pitches to the ICC about three weeks in advance. Through this, the ICC will do the work of installing the pitch and the advertising board of the pitch. However, the pakistan Cricket Board had said that they would hand over the pitch on february 16 and that the ICC should give special permission for this. It was expected that ICC President Jay Shah would refuse this and shift the match to another country. But Jay Shah has now shown a big heart in a way that no one expected. In it, he has extended the deadline for handing over the pitches to the ICC by giving special permission to Pakistan. The ICC executives have also decided to monitor what changes need to be made to the pitch. Similarly, due to the ongoing IPL 20 series at the dubai stadium, there has been a delay in handing over the stadium to the ICC. Jay Shah has also given special permission for that.
