Arina Rodionova, an Australian tennis player, has a reputation for voicing her opinions. She never backs down from controversy, whether it's reprimanding other players for complaining about Covid-19 quarantine regulations in 2021 or making jokes about changing jobs to housekeeping and gardening. The world No. 183 has now made a fresh move by creating an account on OnlyFans.

Following her early elimination from the Australian Open qualifications, 35-year-old Rodionova announced her arrival on the adult-only membership portal. "Good news for everyone who was asking," she said as she broke the news to her admirers. Now that my OnlyFans account has been verified, let's go. Let's get this done. However, that wasn't the only shocking revelation. She soon disclosed that she was no longer married to Ty Vickery, a former Australian rules football player. Before formally separating, the couple had been apart for almost a year.

The tennis star Rodionova is not the first to enter the realm of OnlyFans. American golfer Sachia Vickery joined earlier this year, while former world No. 39 Ashley Harkleroad temporarily joined in 2022. The app is being explored by male players as well; France's Alexandre Muller and Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios utilize it to communicate with fans and provide personal details about themselves.

Other elite players outside of tennis have also adopted OnlyFans. Olympians that have made money off of their unique material include football player Madelene Wright, former UFC fighter Paige VanZant, pole vaulter Alysha Newman, and diver Jack Laugher.

OnlyFans was initially intended to be a platform for influencers to share exclusive content with members, but it soon came to be linked to obscene content. The platform has been making efforts to dispel that stigma, though. Muller and Kyrgios are among the many sportsmen who maintain that they only use facebook for sports-related stuff.
