The Chandoo Mondeti-directed film Thandel, starring naga Chaitanya, is preparing for a major telugu, tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and hindi distribution throughout India. Inspired by actual events in Srikakulam, the romantic action drama film stars sai pallavi as the female lead. Thandel is the most costly project of naga Chaitanya's career, with an estimated budget of ₹90–100 crore.

The tamil trailer was released today, however the reception has been mediocre at best. Nonetheless, DSP's songs have made an impression, with tamil renditions of the songs sounding just as excellent as Telugu. Thandel doesn't seem all that new to tamil fans, who have watched a lot of films full of love, sorrow, melancholy, and intense emotions. It's hard for a telugu film to distinguish out since tamil cinema has produced so many heartbreaking love stories throughout the years.

Additionally, they don't relate to movies about the conflict between india and Pakistan. Thandel has to do well in every market, including tamil Nadu, in order to reach its breakeven aim of ₹50 crore in global share. With a large number of theaters and showings, the movie is scheduled for a broad release in Tamil. The key issue now is whether tamil viewers will accept Thandel or if it would find it difficult to make an impression in a region that is already renowned for its poignant narrative. naga Chaitanya's aspirational pan-Indian goal would be greatly impacted by the tamil box office judgment.
