On february 6, ajith Kumar's Vidaamuyarchi is scheduled to be released. Fans were been given to pictures from the movie that feature ajith and trisha only two days before its premiere. We may infer from the recently released Vidaamuyarchi pictures that trisha and ajith will have a nuanced and mature relationship in the movie.
 
In the pictures, trisha is seen wearing jeans and solid-colored t-shirts, while ajith is featured with black hair, rimless glasses, and casual clothing. In one photo, the two are seen strolling hand in hand, while in another, they are eaten together. The two have a lovely on-screen connection and are charming.

Vidaamuyarchi marks the reunion of ajith and trisha, who previously worked on films as Ji, Kireedam, Mankatha, and Yennai Arinthaal.

There are rumors that the movie is based on the 1997 film Breakdown, which was directed by Jonathan Mostow. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film was directed by Magizh Thirumeni and has music created by Anirudh. Vidaamuyarchi was originally supposed to be launched at the pongal in january 2025, but for unknown reasons, it was delayed.
