With 483 performances and 7,336 tickets sold in the USA alone, Vidaamuyarchi has made $167,949 (₹1.46 crore) from 202 venues as per the most recent update. The movie's total North American advance bookings have risen to $242,000 (₹2.10 crore) when combined with Canadian purchases, and this number is still rising fast. Vidaamuyarchi has already topped the premiere day collection of his previous best, Valimai, which was over $140,000 in the USA. Starring in the action thriller are Regina Cassandra, arjun Sarja, Arav, and trisha Krishnan. The movie, which was directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is reportedly based on Jonathan Mostow's book Breakdown. This is Ajith's first public appearance since receiving the Padma Bhushan.
