The Pakistani government is steadily enforcing its rule over Bangladesh. The consequences of Pakistan's hold are gradually becoming evident. The official radio station bangladesh Betar has been ordered by Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus the Interim official of bangladesh to refrain from airing any songs or other programming that denounces pakistan and its genocide against the Bengalis.

All government TV and radio stations have been told not to report that pakistan slaughtered 3 million Bengalis and sexually assaulted millions of women and girls during Bangladesh's liberation fight.

According to the Yunus administration, pakistan cannot be held responsible for the bengali genocide. Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the Interim government of bangladesh, has ordered that government TV and radio stations stop airing any information that denounces the rape of millions of women and the killing of 3 million Bengalis during the 1971 war against Pakistan.

Ayub Khan, Tikka Khan, Zulfikar ali Bhutto, and Muhammad ali Jinnah are among the past Pakistani leaders whose remarks have also been prohibited. Allegations of crimes against Bengalis have been made against these same figures.

Furthermore, the Yunus administration started the process of destroying old records and video recordings pertaining to the language movement of 1952 and the freedom battle of 1971. According to reports, the goal of this action is to stop any more accusations against Pakistan.
