Soon, OTT will provide the graphic action film "Marco," directed by Unni Mukundan. On february 14th, it will debut on SonyLIV. However, this does not sit well with OTT audiences. If Marco had streamed on services like Netflix and Prime Video, which have larger subscriber bases, it may have reached a larger audience.

With back-to-back South pan-India titles like pushpa 2, Devara, kalki 2898 AD, etc., Netflix india is on a roll and lost out on a great opportunity to get a significant number of viewers with Marco. The film has received positive reviews in the hindi belt and is regarded as the most violent indian film ever made.

Customers are irate since they often do not have a membership to smaller platforms such as Zee5 or SonyLIV, and it appears annoying to have to sign up for a new channel only to watch a single film. Marco has a lot of hype right now, and everyone is watching, so they can't afford to miss it either. Both the platform and the OTT viewers appear to have suffered a significant loss as a result. To see this specific film, users will now need to purchase a separate SonyLIV membership. Nonetheless, internet users have asked Netflix to purchase the hindi version of Marco's streaming rights.
