Following this film, actor ajith was expected to act in his 62nd film directed by actress Nayanthara's husband Vignesh Sivan. But since the story prepared by Vignesh Sivan was not liked by ajith as well as Lyca, it was announced that Vignesh Sivan had been abruptly removed from the film and that director Magizh Thirumeni would direct Ajith's next film.
Director Magizh Thirumeni is famous for directing films like Mundinam Parthene, Thaddaiyarai Thaka, thadam, and Kazhaga Thalaivan. In particular, his film thadam was a huge turning point for actor arun vijay in the film industry. He, who has earned a reputation as a great director, had high expectations among the fans for this film he was going to direct... The title of the film was announced in May 2003. And in October, the shooting of the film 'Vidaamuyarchi' began in azerbaijan with a pooja. Later, the shooting of this film was completed last December. It was said that the reason for the delay in the shooting of this film was that many problems arose before the completion of the film 'Vidaamuyarchi'. The plot and atmosphere would have been set in the hot sun of Azerbaijan. However due to the time change in that country, the second phase of shooting was interrupted. Later, ajith went to azerbaijan for the third phase of shooting because his wife had a sudden surgery, and he returned to india from there in just two days.

Later, this film, which was announced as a pongal release due to some reasons, was not released... but has reached the screen after overcoming many problems. In this film, ajith will play the role of arjun, while trisha will play the role of Kayal. Also, arjun Sarja, Regina, Aarav, Ganesh Saravanan, ravi Raghavendra, jeeva Ravi, ramya Subramanian, and many other big stars will be playing together. While Anirudh has composed the music for the film, Om Prakash has handled the cinematography. N P srikanth has edited the film. The film has been produced by lyca productions with a budget of around Rs 300 crore.

As Ajith's film is releasing after two years, the entire fan base is eagerly waiting for the film. Since morning, fans have been celebrating the film by bursting crackers in the theater and putting up cutouts. Also, while ajith is currently said to be abroad for car racing training, photos of his wife Shalini coming to the Satyam theater to watch the film with fans and enjoying the first look on the first day are going viral.
