Not only this, after the vandalism, this historic house was also set on fire. In her address, Sheikh Hasina asked the people of bangladesh, "Did I not do anything? Did I not do anything for all of you? Then why was my house demolished from where my father gave the slogan of independence." She said, "I want to ask who is behind this. I demand justice from the people of Bangladesh."


She said, "The memories of me and my sister that were left in this house have all been erasedThe house can be burnt but history cannot be erased." Sheikh Hasina targeted Mohammad Yunus and said, "He still does not dare to destroy Bangladesh's national flag, constitution, and the independence that we have achieved at the cost of millions of martyrs with a bulldozer."
