After being sexually assaulted by her father for more than a year, a 14-year-old girl from Dariyapur, Ahmedabad, gave birth to a baby girl on february 5, 2025, in a horrifying episode of sexual abuse in Gujarat. Following the victim's medical disclosure, the 40-year-old accused, a daily wage worker, was taken into custody by the Dariyapur police.
 
Her father routinely sexually assaulted the victim, who was born on May 21, 2010, in their one-room apartment. When the youngster was brought to a public hospital due to significant stomach pain and eventually gave birth to a girl, the crime was discovered. Her pregnancy was officially verified by medical findings.

Under certain provisions of the POCSO Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita, police filed a complaint. The accused, who has six children—three daughters and three sons—coerced his daughter into engaging in sexual assault by threatening and intimidating her.
 
The arrest was verified by Inspector v D Vaghela of the Dariyapur police station, who also said that a thorough investigation is being conducted to obtain further information and guarantee the survivor receives justice.
 
This follows allegations that a 16-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh was repeatedly raped by her father. The victim's mother died ten years ago, making her susceptible to the alleged abuse, according to Superintendent of police (Rural) Sagar Jain.
 
The victim was referred for a medical evaluation after a formal complaint was filed. Superintendent Jain has verified that the suspected father has been taken into custody and that additional investigation is now being conducted.
