NAGAR MAHAKUMBH In addition to reintroducing the zonal bathing plan, which requires devotees to bathe at ghats in their assigned sectors, the Mahakumbh government on thursday halted the circulation of motorboats due to the unexpected increase of devotees in the Sangam region.

Three days after the last Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh on Basant Panchami on february 3, the stream of pilgrims persisted. The administration took action to guarantee smooth circulation after a significant number of devotees came to the mela location on thursday morning.

Four-wheelers coming into Prayagraj were forced to park in designated parking zones established on the outskirts of the city due to the heavy traffic on the roads leading to the mela region from Kanpur, Rewa, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur, and Varanasi.

All 30 pontoon bridges were once more closed to prevent pilgrims from crossing, and altercations between devotees and security guards were observed.

37.97 lakh pilgrims have jumped in the water at 8 am. By noon, the number had increased to 47.10 lakh, according to the mela administration.

"The zonal bathing plan has been implemented with immediate effect due to the excessive crowd at Sangam Nose," stated Vijay kiran Anand, the district magistrate for Mahakumbh Nagar. Devotees are annoyed in this scenario since all pontoon bridges have been shut down. However, security guards are often urging them to avoid going to the Sangam area and instead take the holy plunge at the nearby ghat.
