Delhi assembly election Result 2025: In the delhi assembly elections, bjp has made a comeback with a great performance, while AAP has faced defeat and the role of congress is visible in its defeat.

Congress does not seem to be opening its account in the delhi assembly elections this time too. Candidates have lost on most of the seats or are in third place. But congress has caused a big loss to AAP on some seats. These include former cm Arvind Kejriwal's New delhi, minister Saurabh Bhardwaj's Greater Kailash and former deputy cm manish Sisodia's Jangpura seat.


Meanwhile, congress has reacted. congress spokesperson supriya Shrinet wrote sarcastically on 'X', "It is not the responsibility of congress to make aam aadmi party win. We are a political party, not an NGO."


Those seats of delhi where AAP suffered losses due to Congress


New delhi seat

AAP convenor arvind kejriwal lost the New delhi seat to Pravesh Verma by a margin of 4089 votes, while Congress' sandeep Dixit, who came third, got 4568 votes. Kejriwal got 42.18 percent votes, Pravesh Verma got 48.82 percent votes and Sandeep Dixit got 7.41 percent votes. 


Jangpura 

In Jangpura seat, BJP's Tarvinder Singh Marwah defeated manish Sisodia by a margin of 675 votes while Congress' Farhad Suri got more votes (7350). Marwah got 45.44 percent votes, Farhad Suri got 8.6 percent votes and manish Sisodia got 44.65 percent votes.


Greater Kailash

In Greater Kailash, AAP's Saurabh Bhardwaj lost by a margin of just 3188 votes. He was defeated by BJP's Shikha Roy. Congress's Garvit Singhvi got 6711 votes. It can be said that the congress candidate spoiled Saurabh's game here. Here congress got 6.46 percent votes, bjp got 47.74 percent and AAP got 44.67 percent votes.


Malviya Nagar 

In Malviya nagar, the margin of victory and defeat was 2131 votes. BJP's Satish Upadhyay defeated former minister and AAP leader Somnath Bharti. Congress' Jitendra Kumar Kochar got more votes (6770) than the number of votes by which Bharti lost. BJP's vote share was 46.53 percent, AAP's 44.02 percent, and Congress's 7.96 percent.


Rajendra Nagar

In Rajendra nagar, BJP's Umang Bajaj defeated AAP's Durgesh Pathak by 1231 votes while congress got 4015 votes. Talking about vote share, bjp got 48.01 percent, AAP got 46.74 percent and congress got 4.13 percent votes.


Sangam Vihar

AAP's Dinesh Mohaniya lost to BJP's Chandan Chaudhary by a margin of just 344 votes. congress also got a good number of votes here. Congress's Harsh Chaudhary spoiled AAP's game by getting 15863 votes. congress got 12.62, bjp got 42.99 and AAP got 42.72 percent votes.


Timarpur

BJP's surya Prakash Tripathi defeated AAP's Surendra Pal Singh by a margin of 1168 votes. While the congress candidate got 8361 votes here. bjp got 46.03 percent, AAP got 45.07 percent and congress got 6.88 percent votes.


Mehrauli

In Mehrauli also, congress played a game in favour of AAP. AAP candidate Mahendra Chaudhary lost to BJP's Gajendra Singh Yadav by 1782 votes while the congress candidate got 9731 votes here. Talking about vote share, bjp got 41.67 percent, AAP got 40.13 percent and congress got 8.05 percent votes.


Trilokpuri

AAP's Anjana Parcha lost to BJP's ravi Kant by just 392 votes, if Congress' Amardeep had not got 6147 votes, she could have won. Talking about vote share, bjp got 46.1, AAP got 45.79 and congress got 4.87 percent votes.
