Power is lost, he himself lost, what will arvind kejriwal do next?
Aam Aadmi party (AAP) has suffered a big blow in the delhi assembly elections. The party had to face defeat on many seats. Big leaders like former chief minister arvind kejriwal, manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain have lost the elections. It is believed that corruption became a big issue in this election, due to which 'AAP' suffered a huge loss. After the election results, Aam Aadmi Party's National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said. "His party did not come into politics for power, but to serve the people and will do the same in future too." He accepted the decision of the people of Delhi with humility and congratulated BJP for this victory.
Corruption became the biggest issue
In 2013, Aam Aadmi party came into politics in the name of fighting against corruption. But in the last few years, the party itself got surrounded by corruption allegations. Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI in the Delhi liquor policy scam. Satyendra Jain was already in jail in the money laundering case. Even former chief minister Kejriwal himself was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) before the elections. All these cases caused great damage to the image of AAP.
AAP listed its works
Arvind kejriwal said, "His government made major reforms in the field of education, health, water and electricity in the last 10 years. The condition of government schools in delhi improved, mohalla clinics started and the rates of electricity and water were also kept under control. But despite these works, the allegations of corruption broke the trust of the public.
AAP will play the role of a strong opposition - Kejriwal
AAP National Convenor arvind kejriwal said, "Now the aam aadmi party will play the role of a strong opposition and will always stand with the public in their happiness and sorrow." He also congratulated the workers and said that they worked hard throughout the election and faced many difficulties. Out of the total 70 assembly seats in delhi, bjp has won 48 seats while AAP won only 22 seats. Now the biggest challenge before the aam aadmi party is to save its credibility. Will it be able to recreate its old image among the public or will this defeat become a threat to the existence of AAP? Only time will tell.
