Anna Hazare got emotional saying that he explained a lot to kejriwal, but he did not think about the society and went into politics. He said, "I had a lot of expectations from him. They were involved in alcohol, their image was bad, due to which they got less votes." Anna Hazare said that the Arvind Kejriwal-led aam aadmi party (AAP) had to face defeat in the delhi Assembly elections due to its focus on liquor policy and money.
'Candidate's character should be clean'
The social activist said arvind kejriwal failed to understand his duty to serve people selflessly. Targeting kejriwal, he said the candidate's character should be clean and he should know the virtue of sacrifice. These qualities (in candidates) win the trust of the people and they feel that the candidate will do something for them.

Senior AAP leader and former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has accepted defeat from Jangpura, while party supremo arvind kejriwal has lost from the New delhi assembly seat. Kejriwal-led aam aadmi party (AAP) was founded in 2012 after the anti-corruption movement. kejriwal is considered a supporter of Hazare, but the two parted ways after the formation of Aam Aadmi party in 2012.
