The subject of how bollywood is recreating classic songs has been raised once more with the new song "Gori Hai Kalaiyan" from the movie "Mere husband Ki Biwi." Set to the original song sung and owned by the famous Lata Mangeshkar, this remake, which is sung by badshah and kanika Kapoor, was composed by Akshay & IP.

This song, which features arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and rakul Preet, has all the makings of a future success, but at what price? bollywood is known for its addiction to remakes. Nothing is off-limits, including old music and movies.

While some believe that the remixes are introducing the next generation to great music, others believe that they are a lazy shortcut that stifles originality. The business appears to be mired in a loop of repeating past triumphs rather than creating new songs and narratives. In some ways, the updated version of "Gori Hai Kalaiyan" retains the mood of the original while presenting it in a more modern manner.

Mudassar Aziz, the director, aimed to capture the enchantment of those extravagant bollywood song scenes that we all adore. Although it is a valid strategy, it also raises a more important query: Is it possible to strike a balance between the old and the new? The audience ultimately has the last say. bollywood will continue producing remakes as long as viewers continue to watch. However, there is also an increasing need for new, creative material that is independent of historical support. Will there be a breakthrough in the sector at last? Or are we going to continue dancing to the same old songs?
