Actor dhanush filed a case in court raising a copyright issue alleging that Netflix used some scenes from the film Naanum Rowdy Thaan in its documentary without his permission. The trial of this case between dhanush and Nayanthara is ongoing. Since this matter is not over yet, Simply South has also restricted the film to only indian fans and released the film.
