This friday marks the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam in theaters, and the public has responded quite well to it. Particularly for a movie that has been rereleased in theaters after nearly nine years, the receipts have broken records. In the midst of all of this, a Ratlam event is currently receiving a lot of social media attention. According to reports, the town was abuzz with speculations that gayatri Cinemas was screening Sanam Teri Kasam 2, and a big crowd showed up at the theater.

However, when they saw the old movie being shown on the screen, the people became enraged and took their frustration out on the theater owner. Since he didn't disseminate the word of a sequel, the owner informed them he shouldn't be held accountable. Eventually, the crowds went back to their homes, and while they subsequently learned that the movie had been re-released, the remaining theaters were not filled to capacity. Notably, the event occurred after the producers revealed a sequel last year, but it hasn't started production yet.

When Sanam Teri Kasam was first released in 2016, it was a box office failure. But because of its plot, performances, and heartwarming conclusion, it has become a cult favorite throughout the years. Many even watched it on OTT and satellite networks at different times. According to first-day reports, performances all around india are extremely well-attended. After Tumbbad achieved comparable figures the previous year, this is yet another significant accomplishment for a re-released movie.

However, according to some reports, corporate reservations have been made at a few locations. Considering that the movie is not brand-new, the accusations are startling and intolerable. The re-release is still drawing crowds to theaters in spite of all of this, and the last song will determine whether or not it was a huge success.
