On september 27, koratala Siva's Devara: Part 1, which starred Janhvi Kapoor, Saif ali Khan, and ntr, opened in theaters. The film's producers said that it made ₹400 crore globally, despite conflicting reviews. However, social media has been inundated with trolls and memes since the Netflix premiere, with people on X pointing out the film's shortcomings.

After the OTT release, director koratala siva has received a lot of criticism. It's interesting to see that even those ardent ntr supporters who vehemently supported Devara during its theatrical run are now admitting its flaws, which has prompted a flurry of memes ridiculing the change in opinion. However, the reception to pushpa 2 has been very different. In contrast to Devara, there isn't as much trolling or overpowering fandom after its Netflix debut.

After seeing pushpa 2, OTT viewers appear to be mainly uninterested. Most social media conversations have remained muted, while some have questioned how such a formulaic commercial picture made ₹2000 crore. Fans are delighted with Allu Arjun’s massy avatar despite the lack of a good narrative, while trolls haven’t found anything to bash, keeping them mute as well.

Certain sequences were hyped by a few international fan accounts, but the initial excitement soon subsided. Despite being a huge box office success in cinemas, pushpa 2 has had mixed reviews on streaming services. Even while the viewership figures are respectable, they are hardly revolutionary. pushpa 2 seems to be one of those big-budget movies that won't make a big impression on streaming services.
