Samples taken from dead chickens in various parts of ap have been sent to the National Institute of High-Security Animal Diseases in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Out of these, samples sent from farms in Peravali in east godavari district and Velpur in west godavari district have been found to be positive for Avian Influenza (H5N1 - Bird Flu).
