Tirupati Laddu: Company secretly supplied adulterated ghee..!?

The tirupati Ezhumalaiyan temple in andhra pradesh is world-famous. Thousands of devotees visit this temple from different parts of the country every day. In this situation, when jagan Mohan reddy was the chief minister of andhra pradesh, there was an allegation that the ghee for tirupati Laddu prasad was adulterated. In this situation, shocking information has been revealed in the report filed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) that Bole baba Organic Dairy Private Limited, despite being disqualified, supplied adulterated ghee to the tirupati Venkateswara temple through proxy companies. The current andhra pradesh chief minister chandrababu naidu had alleged that beef fat, pork fat, fish oil, etc. were added to tirupati Lad. A case was registered at the tirupati East police station on november 25 last year. However, ysr congress Party President jagan Mohan reddy denied the allegations, saying that chandrababu naidu was making false allegations for political gain.
This issue caused a huge stir across the country. Cases were filed in the supreme court from various quarters. The supreme court, which heard this, condemned andhra pradesh chief minister chandrababu naidu for speaking on this issue in public. It also ordered the formation of a cbi team to investigate the matter. The team inspected tirupati, Uttarakhand, Sri Kalahasti, and Dindigul. In this case, 4 people, Bipin Jain and Bomil Jain, directors of Polobaba Organic Dairy in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, apoorva Savada, CEO of Sri Vaishnavi Dairy Company located in Benupaka near Sri Kalahasti, and raj Rajasekhar, managing manager of Dindigul AR Dairy Foods Company, were arrested the night before yesterday in connection with this case. In this situation, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has filed a report regarding this case. It said that Bhole baba Organic Dairy Private Limited was debarred by the tirumala tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) in 2022, but continued to supply adulterated ghee through proxy companies Vaishnavi Dairy and AR Dairy. Bhole baba Dairy, which initially supplied ghee at Rs 291 per kg in 2019, was found to have “unsatisfactory” manufacturing practices in an inspection conducted in 2022. Following this, the company was banned and blacklisted, the report said. It also said that Vaishnavi Dairy won a tender in 2020, while AR Dairy allegedly forged documents to secure a contract to supply ghee in march 2024. Bhole baba Dairy actively assisted these companies in the tender process, including document preparation, the report said.

Further, instead of producing ghee as per the requirement, Vaishnavi Dairy and A.R. Dairy allegedly received ghee from the blacklisted Bhole baba Dairy. That is, instead of supplying Agmark ghee, the temple was supplied with adulterated ghee by forging documents, the report said.
