Despite not being a huge hit, Mangalavaaram received praise from both reviewers and viewers for its original idea, fresh characters, and captivating storyline with strong technical aspects. Despite being the primary character in the first film, payal rajput is reportedly not returning for the sequel. In order to give the movie a new appeal, the director is instead thinking of hiring a new actor.

Many people thought that Payal's character would go on from the first part, but it appears that ajay bhupathi has changed his mind. Sreeleela is one name that has drawn interest in the current hunt for the next female protagonist. According to sources, ajay thinks Sreeleela is a fantastic fit for the part and can increase the impact of the movie.

Sreeleela may be a fascinating option. The true test, though, will be if Sreeleela can portray a strong and fearless persona as Payal did in the first installment. Payal gave one of her greatest performances to date in Mangalavaaram, when she portrayed a lady suffering from nymphomaniac condition. It will be intriguing to watch how Sreeleela handles such a bold role—if she accepts it—if the sequel takes a similar route.

Her seductive image from pushpa 2's Kissik song didn't have much of an impression lately. She lacked Samantha's pizzazz and charisma. With movies like Robinhood, mass Jathara, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, and a few others featuring Akkineni heroes, Sreeleela now has a full schedule. She will enter a daring new realm she hasn't yet been into if she goes on to Mangalavaaram 2, which would add another intriguing movie to her repertoire.
