The Champions Trophy indian team announced..!!

The indian team for the 2025 Champions Trophy was announced last night. Some changes have been made in this team. yashasvi jaiswal has been dropped from the team. bumrah has been dropped from the team due to back pain. Spinner varun chakravarthy has been included in the team in place of batsman yashasvi Jaiswal. Another fast bowler Harshit Rana has been included in the team in place of fast bowler Bumrah. varun Chakravarthy's inclusion has surprised many. Because, currently, there are 5 spinners in the team for the Champions Trophy series along with him. varun chakravarthy was expected to replace a spinner, but the inclusion of varun chakravarthy in place of jaiswal has come as a surprise.

 Fast bowlers: Harshit Rana has been included in place of bumrah as a fast bowler. Currently, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, and Harshit Rana will be the three fast bowlers in the indian team.

 Spinners: Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, ravindra Jadeja, kuldeep yadav, and varun chakravarthy have all been included in the team as spinners.
Batsmen: Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL rahul, rishabh pant and hardik pandya have been included as batsmen. hardik pandya will also act as a fast bowler. Apart from these, the bcci has selected three replacements. yashasvi jaiswal, Mohammed Siraj, and shivam Dubey have been included in the squad as replacements. In case of injury to a player in the indian team, one of these three replacements can be used.

Non-travelling substitutes: Yashasvi jaiswal, Mohammed Siraj, and shivam Dubey. The Champions Trophy 2025 will be held in pakistan from february 19 to march 9. A total of 8 teams will participate in this series. The indian team will play its first match against Bangladesh.
