Moviegoers were given a welcome surprise in january of this year when director Dinesh Vijan revealed the release dates for eight new films in the Maddock horror Comedy Universe. Fans, the majority of whom were still enthralled with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's smash hit movie stree 2 (2024), were thrilled to hear this news. 

Thama and shakti Shalini, starring ayushmann khurrana and rashmika mandanna, will open 2025. Bhediya 2, Chamunda, stree 3, maha Munjya, Pehla Mahayudh, and Doosara Mahayudh will follow. There have been rumors regarding the cast of all the movies, but according to current rumors, Shraddha will be the lead of all the horror comedies.
 
Munjya (2024), the only horror comedy not starring Shraddha Kapoor, is the fourth movie in the Maddock horror Comedy Universe to date. The actress starred as the lead in both stree (2018) and stree 2. She even sang a duet with varun dhawan in Bhediya (2022). Varun's appearance in stree 2 last year grabbed hearts when he rescued Shraddha during the movie's climax.
 
Therefore, it was clear to fans that Shraddha will reconnect with varun in Bhediya 2 before playing her adored role in stree 3. However, according to a report published by The Nod, which just conducted an interview with the actor, Shraddha will appear in all eight of the horror comedy universe's flicks.
