Sharad Pawar honored maharashtra Deputy cm Eknath Shinde in a program in Delhi, to which MVA allies Shiv Sena-UBT had objected. Now there has been a reaction from the sharad pawar faction's party NCP-SPThe party said that this was not a political program but a literary program. At the same time, bjp said that by honoring Shinde, NCP-SP has accepted that he was a better cm than uddhav Thackeray.

According to a PTI report, Sharad Pawar's party has honored Shinde with the 'Mahadji Shinde Rashtra Gaurav Award'. This honor was given in the 98th All india Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. On this, Shiv Sena-UBT mp Sanjay Raut said that sharad pawar should not attend such an event because Shinde had toppled the uddhav Thackeray-led MVA government. Some things have to be avoided in politics. Giving such respect to someone whom we consider an enemy of maharashtra is an attack on the pride of Maharashtra.

At the same time, when asked to react to Raut's statement, NCP-SP mp Amol Kolhe said that Raut could express his personal opinion. This was a part of the All india Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. He further said, "He has shown statesmanship where no one brings politics into everything. I don't think there is anything wrong with this. He was the president of the program."

BJP leader Chandrashekhar Bawankule said on Raut's statement that the NCP-SP president was in a way expressing that Eknath Shinde has done a better job as cm than uddhav Thackeray. Pawar has accepted that Shinde was a good CM. The bjp leader also claimed that Pawar has written in his biography that uddhav thackeray visited the ministry only twice between 2019 and 2022 while Shinde used to work 22 hours. Bawankule said that sharad pawar felt that uddhav had damaged the state.
