There were serious concerns raised by the HD leak of naga chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's Thandel. The HD version of the full-length movie leaked shortly after it was released, which has generated anxiety for tollywood Active Producers as well as producers bunny vasu and Allu Aravind. In a time when OTT is the preferred option for a sizable portion of moviegoers, any picture, regardless of size, that demands a substantial commitment of time, effort, and hard work is severely harmed when its HD print gets leaked.

Bunny Vasu discussed the reasons they were unable to restrict websites like iBomma, which is well-known for disseminating HD prints and engaging in piracy. He disclosed that iBomma works out of African nations with lax or nonexistent cybercrime regulations. Three attempts were made by the geetha arts team to stop iBomma, but the website continued relaunching with different IPs. bunny vasu noted that illegal sharing via Telegram and whatsapp networks is harming movies even more than piracy websites.

He cautioned that people who see and distribute Thandel's HD print might be subject to legal repercussions and asked everyone to refrain from sharing such links. He underlined that there would be no way to stop the legal process if a FIR was filed. He asked viewers to notify the team if they come across any instances of Thandel being unlawfully shown on local cable networks or any other platforms, and he also gave them the phone number 9573225069.
