When a trend emerges, many heroes adopt it. Given how many heroes are now starring in movies with a forest setting, it appears that a new trend is developing in Tollywood.

The largest movie being produced against a forest setting is Superstar Mahesh Babu's next flick, which was directed by SS Rajamouli, a trailblazing filmmaker. This film, which is billed as an action-adventure film, will be filmed in forests all over the world.

Krish Jagarlamudi is directing Anushka's upcoming movie, Ghaati. This criminal thriller centers on the smuggling of Ganja and is set against the backdrop of an Andhra-Orissan jungle. On april 18, Ghaati will be released in theaters.

Kannappa, Manchu Vishnu's most ambitious film, will be released shortly. Many well-known actors, including Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar, play important parts in this devotional movie. As everyone is aware, a forest serves as the backdrop for Kannappa's tale. In april 2025, the movie is scheduled to be released internationally.

Director Sampath Nandi and actor sharwanand will soon collaborate on a new movie. Even this film is reportedly set against the backdrop of a forest. According to rumors, sharwanand would speak with a telangana accent and have a raw, rustic appearance in the film. It is anticipated that this movie will be released in the second half of 2025.

Director Koushik Pegellapati collaborated with young hero Bellamkonda Sreenivas on a horror-thriller that seems to be set against a woodland setting. The film's female lead is played by Anupama Parameswaran. Later this year, it is anticipated to be released in theaters.

We may anticipate seeing a lot more forest-based telugu films in the future if most of these films do well at the box office.
