Podhu Kadhal Enbadhu sam (Lijomol Jose) and her mother lakshmi (Rohini Molleti) had a passionate conversation at the start of Udamai. When she admits that she is in love, lakshmi recommends that she have lunch with the "man" on a Sunday. lakshmi invites her estranged husband Devararaj (Vineeth) to join them after breaking the news to him.

On Sunday, Sam's house is visited by ravindra (Kalesh Ramanand) and Nandini (Anusha Prabhu). When sam confesses that she is in love with Nandini rather than ravindra as she had assumed, lakshmi has the shock of her life. sam and Nandini's love is difficult for lakshmi and devaraj to comprehend, and they are shamed for their sexual orientation. The remainder of the movie focuses on the parents' attempts to keep them apart, as well as intense discussions on sexuality, societal taboos surrounding homosexuals and lesbians, and acceptance by society.

The touching film Kadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai, directed by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan, tackles a delicate subject. Kadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai is a fantastic departure about love that transcends boundaries at a time when many high-budget commercial films are turning to gay/lesbian gags. The one-hour and forty-minute video is a clear case study of a lesbian couple, their conservative parents, a sympathetic ally, and understanding housekeeping staff.

The simplicity of Kadhal Enbadhu is its greatest asset. In order to provoke thought in the audience, director Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan pushes the boundaries in both speech and scene staging. It avoids taking a didactic tack or spoon-feeding the audience. There are plenty of situations to choose from and praise. Although there aren't many characters in the movie, they are all well-developed and flawed.

A welcome contribution to movies about same-sex love is Kadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai, which follows Mammootty's Kaathal - The Core. As the fiery sam, Lijomol Jose is the epitome of love. She offers her parents an opportunity to comprehend their love and doesn't hesitate to initiate a connection. Nandini, starring anusha Prabhu, is a wonderful depiction of a lady in love. She handles challenging topics with poise because she understands the stakes. She recognizes and corrects her original outburst of anger.

Ovearll, Be on the lookout for the elegant and contemplative conclusion that does not provide a resolution. The answer lies in acceptance.
