In a tumultuous airport scene, two spouses, shiva (played by Jai) and Guna (played by yogi Babu), discover that their children have been switched. Each parent is faced with a dilemma: Guna's father insists on a granddaughter to fulfill astrological prophecies, while Shiva's father (Sathyaraj) expects a grandson to carry on his lineage. Missed chances and problems that overstretch the concept are what follow.

If the humor were used more frequently, the film's significant logical deviations could be excused. While side plotlines involving property disputes and kidnapping plans appear like an afterthought, characters make decisions that seem to prolong rather than resolve the crisis. Two controlling dads, two abduction attempts, and two comparable resolutions are all recurring themes in the screenplay. It has a copy-paste vibe to it.

The humor relies on well-known jokes and boisterous interactions, drawing from well-known ground. After the initial buzz, jai is reduced to a clumsy blank face, although having some strong screen presence. Perhaps yogi babu is spared since he isn't only there for laughs. Veteran actors sathyaraj and Anandaraj, together with a strong ensemble cast, give their best in parts that alternate between wide humor and strict authority. D Imman has a respectable score.

Baby & Baby's effort to combine humor with family drama fails to do either, making the movie seem more like a throwback to a bygone period than a contemporary family entertainer.
