Actor-politician Vijay, the leader of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has been awarded the 'Y' category security in tamil Nadu by the Ministry of home Affairs. According to sources, the protection was granted following an Intelligence Bureau internal security check.
According to the 'Y' security coverage, eight to eleven CRPF members and one or two commandos would be with Vijay 24/7, according to a notification released by the Union home Ministry on february 13.
