It seems unbelievable, doesn't it, to check into a hotel and have your bags carried by a dog? In actuality, it is taking place in a guesthouse in the Chinese province of Lijiang, Yunnan.

Hakimi, a husky, assists visitors by pushing their carts, and in the process, the dog has gained widespread attention on social media. The South china Morning Post claims that in just three days, Hakimi's viral popularity helped the guesthouse earn 200,000 yuan, or more than Rs 23.49 lakh.

Xu, the proprietor of Hakimi, revealed that it all began as a lighthearted experiment. "Hakimi was really vivacious when she visited our house. When I brought it out to play in April, I thought I might attempt getting it to pull a trolley. It learned immediately, which surprised me," Xu told Cover News.

"We never trained it," the dog's owner said. Initially, it would occasionally topple over or collide with humans, but with experience, it got better. Its abilities have advanced. Additionally, it seldom ever damages anything at home, most likely because it expends its energy outdoors.

From the South Gate of Lijiang Old Town, Hakimi pushes carts filled with visitors' belongings as they make their way to the guesthouse, which is 200 meters away.

According to Xu, the dog truly enjoys "working" and gets quite happy whenever it pulls a cart. "We only take it out when guests ask for it, and it usually does this about three to six times a day," said Xu.

Nowadays, around 80% of visitors to the homestay come just to take use of Hakimi's services.

Xu initially shared amusing videos of the Husky hauling bags online. He was shocked to learn that the videos had been viewed millions of times online. Every video receives one to ten million views. Xu said, "Hakimi has turned into a 'little fortune bringer' for the homestay.
