Delhi railway station Stampede: Railways has decided to run all special trains going to Prayagraj from platform-16 of New Delhi. Passengers going to Prayagraj will enter from Azmati Gate.

The government has taken several important steps regarding the accident caused by the stampede at New delhi Railway Station. Holding zones will be created to control the crowd at 60 railway stations in the country. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be used to control the crowd at all these busy railway stations.
According to a report by india Today, the government has made this plan regarding the death of 18 people due to the stampede at New delhi railway station recently. Railway officials and employees will be given training to control the crowd and maintain order. Passengers will be guided to go to the holding area, for which arrows will be marked.
Monitoring from Central war Room
According to the report, 35 railway stations have been connected to Prayagraj, which will be monitored from the Central war Room. The crowd will be monitored with the help of AI in case of delays in trains. With the help of AI, people sitting on their feet over the bridge and people coming and going from the stairs in the New delhi railway station will be monitored. After the accident, 200 CCTV cameras have been installed at New delhi railway station alone.
Special programs will be organized regarding the crowd
A special program will be organized by the Railways regarding the heavy crowd at the stations. Feedback will also be taken from passengers, coolies, and people with shops on the platform. The Railway minister has constituted a committee to investigate the stampede at New delhi Railway Station. The officials included in the committee have started investigating the CCTV footage installed at the station. Inquiries are also being made about the accident. The committee will soon submit its report to the ministry.
Railways has now decided to run all special trains going to Prayagraj from platform 16 of New Delhi. All the passengers who have to take the train to Prayagraj will enter the platform from Ajmeti Gate.
