The indian air Force is worried about not getting indigenous fighter aircraft. A few days ago, air Force Chief ap Singh reprimanded HAL i.e. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for the delay in the delivery of Tejas fighter aircraft. After the tough stand of air Force's ap Singh, now Hindustan Aeronautics Limited's reply has also come out. HAL has clearly said that nothing will happen with the bickering.
HAL chief DK sunil said on Monday (February 17, 2025) that the government aircraft manufacturing company is focused on ensuring that the LCA MK 1A reaches the air Force as soon as possible. He said that he does not want to waste time responding to this criticism. DK sunil said that the indigenous program is already lagging due to many reasons. There has also been a delay in getting engines from American firm GE Aerospace.
'Delay caused by technical glitches'
DK sunil had told in Bengaluru that the first F-404 engine will start arriving from America in March and this year India will have a total of a dozen aviation engines. In such a situation, the supply of LCA MK 1A to the air Force will start as soon as possible. The delay in the fighter aircraft has happened due to technical flaws, which have now been removed.

DK sunil had said that he understands the major concerns of the air Force. The strength of Squadron Leaders in the air Force is decreasing. Meetings of officials are going on at various levels regarding this. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited will soon supply aircraft to the indian air Force.

Air Force Chief ap Singh had said that HAL chief DK sunil and some other officials of his company had promised him 11 tejas MK1A, but not a single fighter jet has been made till now. ap Singh had also said that he does not think HAL is in mission mode right now.
