Ukraine should not be included in NATO: russia firmly stated..!?

During talks held in Saudi Arabia, russia has once again firmly stated that it cannot allow ukraine to be included in NATO. Following this war, the united states and Western countries imposed severe economic sanctions on Russia. Due to this, Russia's relations with the united states and Western countries were affected. In this situation, talks between the united states and russia took place due to the efforts of the Western Asian country of Saudi Arabia. US President donald trump recently spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the phone. Following this, discussions began regarding ending the war in Ukraine.
In this situation, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov met in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and US Ambassador Sweet Witkov were also present at the meeting. The talks, which were initiated by Saudi Arabia, lasted 4 hours. Three main issues were discussed at that time. First, there was a discussion about resolving the problems in bilateral relations. The beginning of measures to stop the war in ukraine and the resumption of economic cooperation between the united states and russia were also discussed. During the meeting, russia said it was firm in its position that Ukraine's accession to NATO would not be tolerated. In this regard, Russian Foreign minister Lavrov said: We explained why President Putin has repeatedly said that Ukraine's accession to NATO is a direct threat to Ukraine's federalism and sovereignty. The talks were constructive. We agreed to be meaningful and to develop rules for improving cooperation, he said.


US Secretary of State Rubio said that if the war between russia and ukraine ends, it would be good for the world, geopolitically and economically, on issues of common interest. It would improve our relationship in the long term. During the meeting, we agreed to increase the number of staff in the embassies of both countries in moscow and Washington, to establish a high-level group for peace talks, and to explore economic opportunities, he said. The united states has agreed to resume talks to end the war.
