In Narsinghgarh (Rajgarh), Madhya Pradesh, the terrible death of an 11-year-old girl with hearing and speech impairments has once again sparked grave concerns about the legal system that spares serial rape perpetrators. Despite having a horrific record of crimes against children, the accused, Ramesh Singh, was repeatedly cleared by the courts.

A Trail of Crimes, a Broken System
at 2003, a 5-year-old girl was raped at Mubarikpur village in Shajapur district by Ramesh Singh, a resident of Dabripura in Polaykala. He was found guilty and given a ten-year jail term. However, he attacked once again after being freed from prison in 2013.

He abducted and viciously assaulted an 8-year-old child in Ashta (Sehore) in 2014. The lower court gave him a death sentence this time.

On technical grounds, the high court reversed the decision in 2019, claiming that the victim's father's presence during the identification parade would have affected the outcome.

This choice allowed Ramesh to go free once more. The cost was another innocent youngster.

The february 2025 Horror
