The central government has banned 119 Chinese apps..!?

The central government has ordered a ban on 119 apps in India. Most of the apps are developed by companies in china and Hong Kong. The main reason for this is said to be a violation of national security and public order. These apps cannot be downloaded in india on the google Play Store. However, only 15 apps have been removed so far. The remaining apps will be available till february 20. google has not yet fully implemented the ban. Most of them are apps from china and Hong Kong. Some apps are developed in countries like singapore, America, the United Kingdom, and Australia. The most important of these apps are video and voice chat apps. These apps have been banned under Section 69A of the Information technology Act (IT Act), 2000.
Some apps are suspected of collecting user information without permission. Some apps are said to be spreading misinformation against the indian government. After the political problems between india and china, many Chinese apps have been banned earlier. These banned apps will cause huge business losses for many companies. Among them, SilChat - a singapore app, which is a popular video chat app with more than 1 million downloads. This was developed by the MangoStar team. The central government said that google has informed that this app should be banned. Next, Blom - china, which is an app developed by the developer of ChangApp. The company will face huge losses in the indian market due to this ban. And HoneyGame - Australia, which was developed by Shell Private Limited. There is a big market for this app in India.
Currently, only 15 apps have been banned. The remaining apps are still on the Play Store. "Google has not revealed anything about when all the apps will be blocked." Questions have also arisen about whether this is a technical reason or a practical problem. Will these apps be available again? Some of the banned apps are trying to talk to the indian government. Companies like Silchat, Bloom, and Honeycomb are expecting the government to cooperate in removing this ban. "We are trying to ask the government for the reasons for this decision" and are ready to follow the rules, they said. Users will have to look for alternative apps. Some will lose popular apps. Apps trying to re-enter the indian market will have to follow the new rules.
