Last night in Hyderabad's nacharam Mallapur, a group of persons taking part in a parade brandished swords and shouted slogans in front of a mosque, creating a tense situation. The event took place in front of Masjid-e-Aashraf, which is situated inside the boundaries of the nacharam police station in Chankyapuri Colony.
A video shows ten to twelve individuals, two of whom are armed with swords, standing in front of the mosque while brandishing saffron flags and yelling JSR slogans. According to reports, the party was on its way back from a parade honoring Chhatrapati shivaji Jayanti. While some attendees were in the mosque for prayers, they sang slogans. They were holding saffron flag and it was obvious.
On social media, several individuals posted a video they had taken of what seemed to be the kids' intentional attempt to incite intercommunal strife in the city, calling on the authorities to intervene.
One of the users commented, "Is police Department Waiting for any untoward incident to happen then they will take action
Kindly arrest this Goon get them behind to jail where they belong"
Another commented, "Sir, hyderabad city has a history of maintaining peace and tranquility. These kind of people should be punished as per rule of law. They seems to have no fear of rule of law."
