Employers are laying off international students, especially those from hyderabad, out of concern over Donald Trump's immigration policies. Additionally, a lot of local companies have begun employing individuals with legitimate work permits.

Visa Restrictions
The regulations governing student visas forbid students from working off campus, even if they let foreign students, including those from hyderabad, work on campus.

Nonetheless, local companies used to depend on overseas students, particularly grocery stores and indian eateries. They are now terminating students and employing those with proper work visas in light of the trump administration's policies.

If students are discovered to be working off campus, they may also encounter difficulties. Deportation or the revocation of a visa may result from it.

Hyderabad students face hardship after losing jobs in the US
On condition of anonymity, a Hyderabadi student said that while many used to work in neighborhood eateries and grocery stores, most of them have already quit because they fear deportation since trump took office. Even though many of them are struggling, they are either depending on their savings or perhaps receiving parental assistance. Off-campus employment is something they are avoiding.

How this may affect admissions to US universities in the upcoming intake is still unknown.
