Kash patel silenced foreign media regarding ram Mandir...
Kash Patel on Saturday took oath as the ninth director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with his hand on the Bhagavad Gita. Patel has become the first Hindu-Indian and person of Asian origin to lead the FBI. Amidst all this, his statements regarding ram mandir are also being discussed, in which he strongly criticized the Western media.
During that time, many media outlets presented the inauguration of ram mandir on january 22, 2024 as a symbol of rising Hindu nationalism. However, Kash patel strongly criticized this and criticized the reports for ignoring the babri masjid demolition controversy and Hindu heritage. He said that the media is not covering 500 years old history while talking about the babri masjid demolition.
‘Media showed 50-year-old history instead of 500-year-old history’
According to the Times of india report, Kash patel said, "When PM Modi went there for the inauguration of ram mandir, all the newspapers in Washington covered only the history of the last 50 years. They forgot the history of 500 years ago. Whether you are a Hindu or a Muslim, there was a Hindu temple there for one of the Hindu gods in 1500, which was demolished and they have been trying to get it back for 500 years."
He termed the coverage of the American media as a misinformation campaign. He further said, "But the power in Washington has forgotten that part of history and I think has run a misinformation campaign which is harmful to india and the position of the prime minister (Narendra Modi). They are using this because I think they see trump and Modi as similar personalities and the power establishment in Washington does not want this."
What did Kash patel say after becoming the FBI director?
Addressing the gathering after the swearing-in, patel said the American dream is alive as a 'first-generation indian kid' is going to take charge of the FBI. Standing in front of his sister nisha Patel, girlfriend Alexis Wilkins and other relatives, patel said, 'I am living the American dream.'
