At a ceremony on sunday in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, prime minister Narendra Modi laid the cornerstone for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute. According to PM Modi, the government has resolved to build daycare centers in every district of the nation and lower the cost of cancer medications.
 
"Many announcements have been made to combat cancer in this year's budget, and prime minister Narendra Modi has decided that cancer medicines will be made cheaper," he says.  Within the next three years, cancer daycare centers will open in every district of the nation.

In his speech, PM Modi commended police officers and "Safai Karmis" (sanitation workers) for their outstanding work in ensuring the Mahakumbh was a success. He also stated that thousands of doctors and volunteers are willingly participating in this "great Kumbh of unity" with commitment and a spirit of service. "People who are going to this great Kumbh of unity are appreciating these efforts," he stated.
 
He also referred to the current maha Kumbh in Prayagraj as the "Maha Kumbh of Unity" and attacked those who opposed the nation's religious and cultural customs.
