Kyrylo Budanov, the chief of Ukraine's military intelligence, stated during a news conference on sunday that north korea is providing over half of Russia's munitions requirements for its war in Ukraine. Budanov said that Pyongyang has significantly extended its military assistance to Moscow, including the deployment of thousands of troops—the largest such deployment since the 1950s.
 
In addition to ammunition, north korea has begun sending large quantities of 240-mm multiple rocket launch systems and 170-mm self-propelled howitzers to Russia.  Additionally, according to Budanov, Pyongyang has already given russia ballistic missiles and is expected to provide russia with another 148 in 2025.


According to Oleh Ivashchenko, chief of Ukraine's foreign intelligence, russia will generate over seven million artillery and mortar shells in the upcoming year alone, much surpassing european output.  In 2025, Russian troops are also expected to develop about 3,000 long-range missiles.
