Social media users have criticized a Policybazaar commercial that was shown during Sunday's india vs. pakistan Champions Trophy match on JioHotstar as being "insensitive." In the advertisement, a woman said, "Main school ki fees kaise bharungi, ghar ka kharcha bhi hai…" in exasperation at her late husband's failure to purchase term insurance. (How am I going to cover my school fees? Additionally, there are domestic expenditures.

Several individuals criticized the tone of the advertising on X, labeling it "inappropriate."  At the time of publication, Policybazaar had not responded to india Herald's request for comment. Is it just me, or does this PolicyBazaar commercial seem really insensitive?  The first thing his wife does after a guy dies is accuse him of not purchasing term insurance.  On X, a user named siddharth remarked, "This is just insensitive storytelling; it's not financial awareness."

Another user Steve Dsouza wrote, "not a fan of new @policybazaar ad is rather filled with angst and creating a fake urgency. could have been more sensitive informative and empathetic."

"The woman is saying that you didn't plan for term insurance. But he also didn't plan to die. I feel bad for the man in the frame too because at his condolence meeting, when people say he is at a better place, it's probably true-because if your partner is cursing you, then you are definitely at a better place," the man says in the video shared by X users.
