Pooja Hegde is the most recent to join the trend of actresses from various sectors using OTT platforms.  Ajay Gnanamuthu, who helmed Demonte Colony and Cobra, is rumored to have signed her to a web series for Netflix.
 
Pooja appears to have made this choice in light of the increasing number of movie stars, such as samantha Ruth Prabhu, tamannaah bhatia, and Janhvi Kapoor, who are experimenting with wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital material.  Bollywood celebrities like shahid kapoor and varun dhawan have also dabbled in online series.  Pooja Hegde's theatrical career has been in decline, but her OTT debut might mark a new chapter in her career.  Her box office record has been poor, despite her glitzy appearance and well-known projects.
 
Recent movies like Prabhas' Radhe Shyam, salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and Ranveer Singh's Cirkus didn't have a big effect.  Despite strong pre-release excitement, her most recent film, Deva, starring shahid kapoor, didn't even make 25 crores net in India.  Because of her daring looks, pooja hegde is still a star in the fashion industry and regularly makes social media trends.
 
Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, starring varun dhawan, and Sanki, starring Ahan Shetty, are among her future movies; both have low expectations because to their lackluster hype and star draw.  This Netflix web series might be her last chance to reinvent herself after her film career has been faltering.  It has to be seen if she can influence OTT or if she will continue to lose significance.
